cessna 152

The Cessna 152 is an American two-seat, fixed tricycle gear, general aviation airplane, used primarily for flight training and personal use.

Flight Instruction

Panther Aero offers primary, instrument, commercial, and flight-instructor flight training to members. This is the same high-quality flight training students would receive at a commercial flight school, but at a lower cost and without the drawbacks of multiple instructors or lack of aircraft availability. Our only requirements are that all students are US Citizens and become members of the club before receiving flight training. All club instructors are members of the club themselves, and approved by Panther Aero's Chief Pilot and Instructor, Jamey Curry. Jamey is an Airline Transport Pilot and FAA Gold-Seal Flight Instructor with over 2000 hours of dual-given.

Pricing

Panther Aero is a non-equity flying club, meaning members do not purchase a share of the aircraft. As such, members pay a small, one-time initiation fee to join and pay only the hourly rental costs, monthly dues, and other fees outlined below.  Costs are evaluated annually based on current operating costs. As a non-profit organization, all revenue goes into the upkeep and furtherance of the club.

FEES
Initiation Fee*                         $500
Monthly Dues                        $60
Annual Fee                              $100

*Probationary Memberships are available. The probationary membership costs half of the initiation fee upfront, or $250 and includes one 30 minute introductory flight (aircraft time only, instructor paid separately) and a one-month trial membership. At the conclusion of the 30 days, to become a full-time active member, the remainder of the initiation fee is due along with the monthly dues and any flight time accrued during the probationary period. A signed application must be submitted along with the initiation fee.
